Chapter 1—“A Fateful Haven”

In “A Fateful Haven” we learn that Aeneas and his men fled from Troy after the Greeks defeated Troy. They were nearing their fated destination of Latium when Juno had Aeolus use his winds to shipwreck them on the shores of Carthage which is just being built by Dido. Dido and Aeneas meet and Dido asks Aeneas to tell her his story.
